Only the writers themselves are responsible for the contents of the newsgroups. UseNetXL is not liable for posted or received contents, links or other articles of third persons. UseNetXL has no influence on posted articles in particular newsgroups.Usenet is a public forum to which everybody has access and in which every user has to act on his own responsibility. UseNetXL cannot exert influence on the articles which are posted in the publicly available usenet if only because of the enormous amounts of data. The supply of services of UseNetXL consists in providing access to external subject matters (just like internet providers such as T-online, AOL, Freenet, etc) to our clients. In this context we refer to the decision of Munich regional court I from November 17, 1999 (20 Ns 465 Js 173158/95 = CR 2000, 117).
1. General information
You validate with your registration that you are at least 18 years old.Just like in 'real life', like in public outside the internet, it is up to you to observe codes of conduct and the limits of law. Just to be sure that you are able to act on your own responsibility and within statutory frameworks, you need to be of legal age to use UseNetXL.If you find subject matters on the usenet which aren't legal in your opinion, please notify in writing about the offence: Support
2. Don't spam!
It is generally unwanted to spam on the usenet, that means, neither post unrequested advertisements nor write iterative articles in enormity.
3. Name your e-mail address
If you post an article on the usenet please name a reachable e-mail address after 'From:'. This address does not have to be your major one. But please do not use nicknames (synonyms) if you post something because this is not permissible in most sections of the usenet.
4. Avoid multiple posting
It is objectionable to post one article in many different groups; such behavior is highly likely to arouse the resentment of other users. If you're going to post one article in different groups at the same time (like spamming) you will make yourself unpopular. So please don't do it.
5. Post binary files only in the right group
Every file which consists of more than a text (like music, movies, pictures, etc.) may only be posted in groups which are intended for that. Usually you will recognize such groups by the addition 'xxx.binaires.xxx'.
6. Please mind the Netiquette
The term Netiquette seems to be one of the oldest words on the internet - and rightly so.The basic rule: Don't post something which you wouldn't tell someone face to face.Netiquette (made up of Net + Etiquette) means common codes of conduct on the internet. Please observe:Every user should, could and is allowed to post his opinion as long as nobody will be offended or insulted seriously. You can discuss in a controversial, funny or recondite way.
Please mind that posting subject matters shouldn't

be disguised ads

be deliberately false or unobjective

be an infringement of a copyright or other rights of third persons because of repetition
-
contain pornographic, immoral or other obnoxious elements especially in terms of pictures
